The Spotted Hyena's skull is built for one purpose: crushing. Massive jaw muscles anchor to a pronounced sagittal crest, generating a bite force that can splinter the thickest bones - extracting marrow that no other predator can reach. This miniature replica preserves the heavy jaw structure, prominent crest, and robust canines that make the Hyena skull one of the most biomechanically impressive in the African bush.
Each Skullie begins with a real, ethically sourced skull that is laser-scanned to sub-millimetre precision. The digital model is scaled down to roughly 1:6 and 3D printed in eco-friendly, biodegradable resin. Every piece then goes through a hand-finished wash-and-cure process, which means no two Skullies are exactly alike - subtle variations in the finishing make each one uniquely yours.
