The Hippo skull is one of the most dramatic in the animal kingdom: enormous canine tusks, a gaping jaw capable of opening nearly 180 degrees, and a broad, heavy cranium built to support it all. Responsible for more human fatalities in Africa than any other large animal, the Hippo commands respect. This miniature replica captures the sheer scale and power of those legendary jaws.
Each Skullie begins with a real, ethically sourced skull that is laser-scanned to sub-millimetre precision. The digital model is scaled down to roughly 1:6 and 3D printed in eco-friendly, biodegradable resin. Every piece then goes through a hand-finished wash-and-cure process, which means no two Skullies are exactly alike - subtle variations in the finishing make each one uniquely yours.
